Dorset - Freshers' Event
The Cambridge Society of Dorset warmly invites new students starting a course at Cambridge this autumn for informal drinks in Wimborne before the start of term. This is a great opportunity to prepare for university and make new friends before you arrive.
You can expect to meet alumni and current students, from whom you can get tips and advice for living and studying at Cambridge. There will also be a question and answer session.
Refreshments: non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks will be provided, free of charge
Guests: you are welcome to bring a guest (such as a parent, guardian or friend)
Dress code: wear whatever you feel comfortable in

Driving directions:
From the A31 (Wimborne Bypass):
- Turn south as for A349 at roundabout midway along bypass following local signs to Merley, Broadstone and Canford Magna
- After only 100m turn left at next roundabout towards Canford Magna and Wimborne
- After 200m turn right to Canford School (by the Willett Arms)
- After 1 mile Canford is signposted on the left
