The Cambridge Society of South Wales warmly invites new students starting a course at Cambridge this autumn for informal drinks in Cardiff (or online, if you cannot attend the event in-person), before the start of term. This is a great opportunity to prepare for university and make new friends before you arrive.

You can expect to meet alumni and current students, from whom you can get tips and advice for living and studying at Cambridge. There will also be several brief presentations on aspects of student life and a question and answer session. 

INFORMATION FOR THOSE ATTENDING IN-PERSON

Refreshments: non-alcoholic drinks and nibbles/light bites will be provided, free of charge

Guests: it will not be possible to bring a guest

Dress code: wear whatever you feel comfortable in

• Safety measures will be in place at this event, which you are asked to observe
• You are welcome to contact the organiser to discuss any safety concerns
• Please bring a face mask
• Please do not attend the event if you feel unwell
• The organiser will contact you if the event is cancelled, or moved online, in response to changes in government guidelines
