The CAMCard is issued free to all alumni who have matriculated and studied at Cambridge, instantly identifying you as a member of the University.
What is the CAMCard?
The CAMCard is your official alumni card; with it, you and up to three guests can visit Colleges open to visitors without paying an entrance fee. Please note that fewer guests are permitted at Clare, King's and St John's (two guests with the CAMCard holder) and Queens' (one guest only). See College access for more detailed information.
As well as automatic membership to the University Centre, the CAMCard gives you a range of other benefits - explore the map and the topics below to find out more.
What does the CAMCard look like?
The CAMCard had a makeover in 2015 but don't worry if you have a previous design, you don't need to get a new one. Your CAMCard is still valid and, whichever design your card has, it will continue provide you with all the usual benefits and discounts.
Why is there a new number on my CAMCard?
The long number on your CAMCard is your alumni number; it's unique to you and you can use it to access certain alumni benefits. The format of alumni numbers changed in April 2018, but don't worry if your card has your old number on - you can still use the card as usual, and you don't have to get a new one.
