Scudamore's Punting Company owns the largest fleet of punts in Cambridge, with some 150 craft available for self-hire along two routes - the College Backs and Grantchester. 

Scudamore's has three punt stations:

• Mill Lane - at the southern end of the Backs, between the Anchor pub on Silver Street Bridge and the Mill pub on Mill Lane
• Mill Lane Boatyard - between the Mill Lane station and the Double Tree by Hilton Garden House Hotel
• Magdalene Bridge - at the northern end of the Backs at Quayside by Magdalene Bridge
