Sydney - Thinking at Twilight
Alumni and guests are invited to join the Cambridge Society of New South Wales for their Thinking at Twilight with guest speaker and fellow alum Simon Smith.
Our event will be held at the University & Schools Club, where we can enjoy drinks and canapes followed by Simon Smith's story, from economics at Cambridge to leading the 'gig economy' business Ola, the main competitor to Uber in Australia. He will also explain how Covid has affected his last 12 months and his outlook on the future.
Speaker: We welcome guest speaker and fellow alum Simon Smith. Simon studied Economics (first class) at Trinity Hall year (1986-89), and then began his career at McKinsey.
