Join Cambridge Society of North and West Yorkshire for lunch in Harrogate and hear from Dr Rachael Unsworth, an urban geographer and former lecturer in the Department of Geography at the University of Leeds.

Dr Unsworth is known for her forward-thinking on urban design, sustainability and housing development in Leeds.

Her book 21st Century Leeds: Geographies of a Regional City was published in 2004, followed by a guide book about the city centre in 2008. She will be talking about her recent book, on which she collaborated with local historian Steven Burt. Leeds: Cradle of Innovation draws together inspiring stories about the city's innovators of the past and present.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided at this event. A carvery lunch at the Harrogate Club is on the menu, with vegetarian options available.
