The Norfolk Cambridge Society cordially invites you their upcoming lecture. Professor Charles ffrench-Constant, Professor of Medical Neurology at the University of Edinburgh, will be speaking on Regenerative medicine - can we help the brain repair itself?

Professor ffrench-Constant was Professor of Neurological Genetics at the University of Cambridge from 1999 to 2007. He has made fundamental and sustained contributions that underpin much contemporary research in developmental and regenerative neuroscience. He has an international reputation and expertise as a neuroscientist and a clinical geneticist.

This latest lecture of the Norfolk Cambridge Society's quarterly lecture series will discuss one of the most exciting fields of medicial research. Regenerative medicine holds the promise of revolutionising patient care by addressing the problems of an ageing population, reducing healthcare costs through providing cures and better management of chronic diseases and reducing the time and cost of drug development.
