The Cambridge Society of North and West Yorkshire and the Cambridge Society of York warmly invite new students starting a course at Cambridge this autumn for informal drinks in York before the start of term. This is a great opportunity to prepare for university and make new friends before you arrive.

You can expect to meet alumni and current students, from whom you can get tips and advice for living and studying at Cambridge.

Refreshments: non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks and nibbles will be provided, free of charge

Guests: you are welcome to bring a guest (such as a parent, guardian or friend)

Dress code: wear whatever you feel comfortable in
