West Cheshire and North Wales - Freshers' Event 2021
The Cambridge Society of West Cheshire and North Wales warmly invites new students starting a course at Cambridge this autumn for informal drinks in Chester before the start of term. This is a great opportunity to prepare for university and make new friends before you arrive.
You can expect to meet alumni, recent graduates and current students, from whom you can get tips and advice for living and studying at Cambridge.
Refreshments: non-alcoholic drinks and food will be provided, free of charge
Guests: it will not be possible to bring a guest
Dress code: wear whatever you feel comfortable in
Please note: this event will be held outdoors

On arrival: come to the main entrance where you will be met
Directions and transport: the Cricket Club is in the village of Christleton, near Chester. Google Maps provides an accurate location. Leave the village of Christleton on Little Heath Road heading towards Littleton and the A51. Turn right onto Little Heath before the duck pond. Go through the gate after the park and playing field and carry on until you reach the cricket club.
Please note: although the venue is a members’ club, you will not be expected to become a member of the club, or pay a membership fee to attend the event
