The Cambridge Society of Sussex warmly invites new students starting a course at Cambridge this autumn for informal drinks in Lewes before the start of term. This is a great opportunity to prepare for university and make new friends before you arrive.

You can expect to meet alumni and current students, from whom you can get tips and advice for living and studying at Cambridge. There will also be a question and answer session.

Refreshments: drinks and light bites will be provided, free of charge

Guests: you are welcome to bring a guest (such as a parent, guardian or friend)

Dress code: wear whatever you feel comfortable in

Those coming from a distance are welcome to claim £10 travelling expenses. Mention it to the welcome desk on arrival.

Directions: from Lewes railway station, turn left out of the main (upstairs) entrance and right at the roundabout. Church End Cottage is 4 mins walk

Parking: Church End Cottage is accessed via Cockshut Road off Southover High Street. Parking for disabled users is available at the venue. On road parking directly opposite the Church is free from 6pm. There is also a free car park at the far end of Cockshut Road
