The Cambridge Society of Sheffield warmly invites new students starting a course at Cambridge this autumn for informal drinks in Sheffield before the start of term. This is a great opportunity to prepare for university and make new friends before you arrive.

You can expect to meet alumni, recent graduates and current students, from whom you can get tips and advice for living and studying at Cambridge.

The event will be held at Sheffield Business School and will be followed by optional drinks at The Red Lion pub, which is a few minutes' walk away.

Refreshments: non-alcoholic drinks and nibbles will be provided, free of charge. Food and drinks can also be purchased from the venue (cash and credit/debit cards will be accepted)

Guests: you are welcome to bring a guest (such as a parent, guardian or friend)
