Thursday, 14 September 2017 - 7.00pm to 8.30pm BST
Open to:
Graduate students

The Cambridge Society of Sheffield invites new students starting at Cambridge this autumn to join members for an informal evening at Sheffield Business School. This is a great opportunity to prepare for university and make some friends before you arrive. You will meet current students and alumni from whom you can get tips and advice for living and studying at Cambridge.

This event will be combined with a recent alumni event and will be a great chance for you to meet recent local Cambridge graduates, ask questions and chat through their experiences.

Following the event you are invited to reconvene at a nearby pub for those wanting to chat more.

Refreshments: soft drinks and nibbles will be available, free of charge

Guests: you are welcome to bring up to two guests (e.g. parent, guardian or friend)

Location information

Sheffield Business School is in the Stoddart Building, on Arundel Gate in the city centre. Easy if using bus, tram or train. For arrival by car the most convenient parking is in the Science Park car park, which is behind the Student Union Hubs. Because of the one-way system, the best access is via Furnival Street then Arundel Lane. The car park is at the end (where it meets Charles Street) and is about three minutes walk to the Business School. It is a pay and display car park and is in three sections - the first section may be full, but if you carry on through there are two additional sections where spaces are usually available. Note that street meters and council car parks are a flat £1 after 4.30pm.
