Murray Edwards College and the Manchester Association of Cambridge University Women warmly invite new students starting a course at Cambridge this autumn for informal drinks in Manchester before the start of term. This is a great opportunity to prepare for university and make new friends before you arrive.

You can expect to meet alumni, from whom you can get tips and advice for living and studying at Cambridge. The Schools Liaison Officer from Murray Edwards College, Catherine Rowley, who is also the event organiser, will be in attendance to answer questions.

Refreshments: non-alcoholic drinks and nibbles will be provided, free of charge

Guests: it will not be possible to bring a guest

Dress code: wear whatever you feel comfortable in

Please note: although the event is hosted by Murray Edwards College and the Manchester Association of Cambridge University Women, the event is open to new students of all Cambridge Colleges and genders
