How do I book an event?
1. Go to the Festival programme
2. Search for events by name or click on the calendar filter option on the left hand side to view events by date
3. Click on the session you would like to attend
4. Booking information is on the right hand side of the page
How much does it cost to attend the Festival?
£15 per session (Friday and Saturday)
£12 per session for concessions. Concessions apply to Cambridge students, alumni who matriculated in or later than 2009, and guests aged between 12 and 18 years of age
Free for under 12s - please note that guests under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times
Some events have individual costs attached. Please check the programme or contact the Events team for further information and pricing.
Can I bring a non-alumni guest?
Do I need to check in on arrival?
Yes! Please come to the Festival Hub to register and collect your festival identification and programme. You'll need to display your Festival identifcation when attending events.
The Festival Hub is located in a marquee on the Sidgwick Site's Raised Faculty Building lawn.
Please note that if you are only attending Come and Sing at the Festival, you do not need to check in. There will be a guest list in operation at the event.
Where can I get a copy of my itinerary?
Your itinerary is included in your confirmation email. You can also get a printed copy at the bookings desk in the Festival Hub.
How do I make changes to my booking?
Please contact the Events team by email at festival@alumni.cam.ac.uk or by telephone on +44 (0)1223 332288. For changes on the day, please go to the bookings desk in the Festival Hub.
Can I book sessions on the day?
Bookings for available sessions can be made on the day at the bookings desk in the Festival Hub.
Can I have a refund if I can no longer attend?
Refunds and cancellations are subject to our Terms and Conditions.
Are your venues accessible for people with limited mobility?
Yes. Please see individual venues for further information.
Where can I park?
There is no parking on the Sidgwick Site unless you are a Blue Badge holder. For more information on parking and transport, visit our Getting Around page.
How do I get to the Sidgwick Site?
The Festival Hub is located in a marquee on the Sidgwick Site's Raised Faculty Building lawn, and will be open on:
- 8.30am - 9.00pm Friday, 27 September
- 8.45am - 5.30pm Saturday, 28 September

Will there be refreshments in the Festival Hub?
Complimentary tea, coffee and water will be available in the Festival Hub all day on Saturday, 28 September.
In a concerted effort to make the Alumni Festival more sustainble and to help alumni and friends consider their use of single-use plastics, plastic drinks bottle will not be available at the Festival Hub. We would encourage guests to bring along a resuable water bottle which can be refilled free of charge at the water coolers in the Hub.

Yes, booking is essential if you want a 'Deli' or 'Grab and go' lunch in the Festival Hub.
