The Vancouver Island Oxford and Cambridge Society is pleased to invite you to the 2023 Annual Party.

All those with Oxford or Cambridge affiliation and their guests are encouraged to attend for an evening of socializing, renewing old acquaintances and making new ones, and music. Video of the Cambridge-Oxford boat races will be available. In addition, Leigh has generously arranged a performance by the Victoria tenor Ken Lavigne.

Program

• 6:30 – 7:30: Arrive at Highbury for socializing, along with drinks, delectable served canapes and cold platters.
• 7:30: Brief welcome remarks by Dr. Dorothy Kennedy.
• 7:45: Summary of races and toast to the universities by Dr. Shaun Peck; recharge glasses.
• 8:00 – 9:00: Welcome by our host Leigh Large; introduction to a concert by tenor Ken Lavigne and musicians.
• 9:00 – 10:00: Socializing (wine, coffee/tea, cakes and cheese buffet).
• 10:00 – 10:15: Farewell.
