Professor Peter Bellwood

Professor Peter Bellwood

Professor Peter Bellwood is an Emeritus Professor at the Australian National University in Canberra.

An alumnus of the University of Cambridge, he specialises in the human population prehistory of Southeast Asia from archaeological, linguistic and biological perspectives, and is co-author of several books on worldwide human population prehistory. He is currently involved in archaeological fieldwork in central Vietnam.

Between 2016 and 2018 he was a Temple World and Indus Experiences guest lecturer on Mekong River tours focusing on Angkor temples.
