Nirvana Romell

International lecturer in West European Art and Culture, she is a born and bred Dalmatian, coming from Dalmatia- the central costal province of Croatia.

With postgraduate degrees from the University of Zagreb (English Language and Literature / History of Art -Western Europe and the western Balkans), she moved via South Africa to England, arriving in October 2003. Since then, she has been working as a freelance lecturer on history of Western art, including Balkan art and culture. She has given numerous talks and workshops for organisations and associations such as the Manchester City Art Gallery, The Walker National Gallery in Liverpool, the Royal Geographical Society and the Arts Society. She also regularly researches, arranges and accompanies study tours to the western Balkans and relating countries.
