For those of you not yet in the know, this is a traditional north German winter excursion to a country inn with an afternoon of open-air bowling (Boßeln), steady consumption of alcoholic beverages towed on a cart (Bollwerwagen), and a closing dinner of kale simmered with various cuts of pork (Grünkohl). We will be meeting mid-morning at Landungsbrücken and travelling by ferry and taxi to Stubbes Gasthaus on Grünendeich, returning early-evening.

As such, this is an all-day event - and one it is well worth worth taking a Sunday out of your schedules for! Outlay last year was approximately €50 per head all things told (transport to and from event; cart and cabbage, both with all the trimmings!).
