The Cambridge Society of North and West Yorkshire warmly invites new students starting a course at Cambridge this autumn for informal drinks in York before the start of term. This is a great opportunity to prepare for university and make new friends before you arrive.

You can expect to meet alumni and current students, from whom you can get tips and advice for living and studying at Cambridge. 

Refreshments: non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks and nibbles/light bites will be provided, free of charge, if COVID-19 restrictions are lifted

Guests: you are welcome to bring a guest (such as a parent, guardian or friend)

Dress code: wear whatever you feel comfortable in

• You are welcome to contact the organiser to discuss any safety concerns
• Please bring a face mask
• Please do not attend the event if you feel unwell
• The organiser will contact you if the event is cancelled, or moved online, in response to changes in government guidelines
