Melbourne - Lunch & talk by David R Rees
Melbourne - Lunch & talk by David R Rees
The Cambridge Society of Australia (Victoria) invites alumni and guests to join them for their first in-person lunch at the Savage Club, followed by a talk from David R Rees - The Harrier Jump-Jet Aircraft and its role in the 1982 Falklands Conflict.
David Rees was involved in the design of the Harrier Jump Jet and so is well placed to give us an insight into the nature of Jump-Jet capability. He will also outline the Falklands Conflict and the key role the Harrier played in it. You may recall that this was intended to be a talk in March 2020 before Covid turned our world upside down.
Numbers are strictly limited to 20 people with priority given to members of the society.
