The Cambridge Society of Washington DC warmly invites new students starting a course at Cambridge this autumn for informal drinks in Washington DC before the start of term.
This is a great opportunity to prepare for university and make some friends before you arrive. You can expect to meet alumni, recent graduates and current students, from whom you can get tips and advice for living and studying at Cambridge.
Refreshments: food and drink can be purchased (cash and credit/debit cards will be accepted)
Guests: you are welcome to bring a guest (e.g. parent, guardian or friend)
Dress code: there is no dress code; please wear whatever you feel comfortable in

Driving and parking: street parking is available on a first come, first served basis
From Alexandria: take George Washington Memorial Parkway or I395 to Arlington Cemetery, cross Memorial Bridge and follow towards Rock Creek Park. Take exit for E Street, and turn left onto 20th Street NW. Continue to Dupont Circle
From Annapolis: take Route 50 into DC. Follow onto New York Avenue, and bear onto P Street NW. Continue to Dupont Circle
From Baltimore: take I95 South, exit towards Silver Spring. Take Route 390 onto 16th Street NW, and merge onto New Hampshire Avenue. Continue to Dupont Circle
