Did you know that we have an Alumni Advisory Board? Founded in 2009, the board represents the interest of alumni and advises us on how we can ensure graduates continue to feel part of Cambridge.
Deputy Chair Dame Barbara Stocking said: “The interest and support of alumni is so important to the Colleges and wider University and of course the alumni networks and informal contacts can be important to each of us; personally wherever we are across the world.
“Through the Alumni Advisory Board I hope we can make the two-way flow between the alumni of the Collegiate University helpful to the University and rewarding for the alumni.”
This summer has seen some changes to the board’s form. John Pritchard (Robinson 1983) assumed the newly created position of Deputy Chair – Alumni.
A new Steering Committee was also established. Chaired by Mr Pritchard its members include existing board members Anne Thidemann (Emmanuel 1998) and Andrew Hill (Trinity 1984). The committee, which convened for the first time in July, will provide strategic guidance to the Board and ensure that its activities are alumni-led.
