The Society (CUCS) encourages alumni in the Colchester area to meet, to be entertained and informed. We meet in summer for a Summer Party, normally in a member's garden; we also meet in winter for an Annual Dinner with a guest speaker who keeps us up-to-date with interesting developments, particularly in the University. CUCS is independent and is over 50 years old.  It costs nothing to join; there is no committee!
