As you may know, in an effort to set the Oxford and Cambridge Society of Zurich on firmer footing, a group of volunteers (Rebekka Greminger, Quentin Ingram and Christian Casparis) was asked to establish a Working Group to focus on drafting a constitution and developing committee roles and responsibilities.

As an alumnus/a based in or around Zurich, you are invited to attend a meeting to discuss the draft constitution and code of conduct and the proposed committee structure. After the meeting you can enjoy drinks with fellow alumni to celebrate the relaunch of the Oxford and Cambridge Club of Zurich.

Please note this event is only open to alumni

Agenda

  1. Approval of the agenda
  2. Explanation of the process leading up to the present meeting and the work done in drafting a new constitution
  3. Discussion on the text of the circulated draft constitution
  4. Approval of the new constitution with agreement on any modifications to be included
  5. Date of AGM with election of new committee
  6. AOB

The Working Group consists of Anselm Pilz, Christian Casparis, Chris Wills, Dagmar Iber, Federik Floether, Jeremy Richardson, Marie Imbert, Michelle Searle, Paul Brice and Quentin Ingram.

A draft constitution along with a code of conduct for a relaunched club (drafted by the Alumni Offices), was discussed and its basic structure agreed. The Working Group has held several meetings since June in order to finalise the draft.

The Working Group is now keen to share this more widely in the hope of ratifying the constitution and code of conduct so that the Club can resume its activities as a fully recognised entity. This meeting will be organised and run by the Working Group. They will also act as the Club's interim committee until the election of a new one at the foreseen AGM.
