Could there be a better time to debate some liberal themes?? Are there side benefits that come from standing up for the marginalised? Should Canada be engaging in other countries' social policies? Do we need specific interest groups in the fight for equality of opportunity? Can we all win?

Alumni are invited to join the Oxford and Cambridge Society of Toronto for a fireside chat with Rhodes Scholar Randy Boissonnault, MP, member of the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights and special advisor to the Prime Minister on LGBTQ issues.

He will be joined by lawyer, writer, activist and Cantabrigian Josh Scheinert in a discussion moderated by human-rights lawyer and Oxonian, Warda Shazadi Meighen.

Our panel will address: "A Path to Equality: Canada in a world of uneven LGBTQ rights".
