San Francisco, CA: Cambridge Institute for Sustainable Leadership Conversation
Join the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership on Wednesday, July 16 at 6:00pm in the Financial District of San Francisco to discover how AI can be harnessed to accelerate the transition to clean energy
The University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) is a globally influential Institute developing leadership and solutions for a sustainable economy. In July, CISL celebrates its Network Day. This milestone is being celebrated worldwide by a series of discussions to connect members within a supportive and ambitious global community of action.
Across the world, and within the context of Silicon Valley, businesses are racing to develop artificial intelligence (AI) technologies that can process information and, at least superficially, mimic human thinking. From an environmental perspective, there are negative climate and energy transition factors that underpin the explosion of AI.
Join Dr Pavan Manocha (Wolfson, 2013), U.S. West Coast alumni Ambassador to the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), fellow alumni and distinguished guests, for an informal reception and action-oriented discussion, to unlock the AI, climate and energy transition nexus.
This event is by invitation only and exclusive to alumni of Cambridge University. If you are interested in attending, please email Pavan Manocha here:
We look forward to seeing you!

Dr Pavan Manocha is an Industrial Associate with Engage at the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM) and U.S. West Coast alumni Ambassador to the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL).
