Alumni and guests are welcomed to join the Cambridge University Brazilian Alumni, and Mr Andrew Castro, who will be speaking about "Education as an instrument that change lives."

Mr Andrew Castro is specialized in International Development, an Alumnus from the Fitzwilliam College in Cambridge, as well as from the University of London, the University of Havana and the Japan University of Economics. In 2020, he was appointed Director of the Latin America branch of the Ashinaga Foundation*, one of the largest non-profits in Japan, and divides his time between São Paulo and Tokyo.

* The Ashinaga Foundation is a non-profit organization headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, that provides educational funding and psychological support to children who have lost one or both guardians, as well as to those whose guardians suffer from serious disabilities.
