I am pleased to invite you to the 2023 AGM of the Cambridge Society of Luxembourg which will be held at the Brasserie Kirchberg, 193 rue Kirchberg, L-1858 Luxembourg, on Thursday 8^th June 2023 at 8.00pm. 

Attached to this listing you will find the Convening Notice which includes the agenda for the meeting, and the “Power of Attorney” or proxy form which you are asked to complete and return to secretary@cambridgesociety.lu if you (a) have paid your annual subscription for 2023 and (b) are unable to participate in the meeting. 

The invitation is being sent out to everyone who is on our mailing list, and everyone is welcome to participate in the meeting. In accordance with the rules of the Society, however, only those of you who have paid the annual subscription for 2023 are allowed to vote at the meeting. If you have not paid, and wish to participate in the votes at the meeting, there is still time to pay your subscription (€30.00, payable to the Cambridge Society’s bank account. Please contact us directly and we will give you the society's banking coordinates.

It will be possible to eat at the Brasserie during the meeting. There are two menus available:

Menu 1:

Assiette froide Luxembourgeoise (jambon, paté au Riesling, cervelas, saucisses, pickles de légumes, galettes de pommes de terre)

Tarte au pommes tiède et boule de glace vanille

Menu 2 (vegetarian) :

Escalope de légumes, crème de chèvre aux herbes, frites, salades ou Pot-au-feu de légumes

Crème brulée

The price for both menus is €32,50 to be paid on the night.

If you intend to participate in the AGM, please inform the Secretary by sending an email to secretary@cambridgesociety.lu, indicating your choice of menu, by 12.00 on Thursday 1 June at the latest, as we have to inform the Brasserie of numbers on that date.

We have booked in the restaurant, but if weather permits we may convene on the Brasserie’s excellent terrace.

We are doing our best to make the AGM an enjoyable social event in pleasant surroundings, keeping the more formal side of the gathering to a strict minimum! Do come along!!
