Join us for an exciting evening where Lord Robert Mair will discuss the latest advancements in Smart Civil Infrastructure and Construction!

The event will feature Professor Lord Mair CBE FREng FRS, Professor of Geotechnical Engineering and Head of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Cambridge as guest speaker. Lord Mair will describe the work of the Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction (CSIC) in the Cambridge University Engineering Department. CSIC, funded by Government and industry, has deployed innovative sensing technologies on more than 100 construction sites; some of these will be described, with emphasis on tunnels, shafts, bridges and buildings.
