London - An Evening with Art, Wine, and Good Company
Following the Cambridge Society of London's hugely enjoyable day - despite a close-run defeat - at Lord’s, they are now getting together on the evening of Monday, 25 September for a private viewing of a fascinating gallery of artworks, together with our obligatory drinks and nibbles, networking and stimulating conviviality, at their adopted Society venue, the Coningsby Gallery in Tottenham Street, Fitzrovia, just a couple of minutes’ walk from Goodge St underground station on Tottenham Court Road. The Society is very grateful to the Gallery for hosting them again, and we are specially privileged that they have been offered the Opening Night of the exhibition, just for the Society.
The exhibition is “Leopardi’s Dream: the Engravings of Francis West (1936-2015)” and the works are provided by Henry Miller Fine Art. This is a real opportunity to attend an exclusive opening night event of this very interesting and classic collection.
Do book, drop in during those hours, join us in enjoying a glass or two of wine, meet others from Cambridge and their guests, and discuss the art and anything else that takes your fancy. And who knows - one of the works might end up gracing your own wall.
