The Dinner this year will be slightly special – recognising the need across the border, we will use this opportunity to raise funds for the Charity Service of the Order of Malta, Berehovo District (Beregszász Járási Máltai Szeretetszolgálat), who care for Ukrainian refugees fleeing war in the Eastern parts of the country. Therefore, when buying tickets for the dinner, we ask you to consider supporting the President's Appeal – an overview of the charity's work can be found here and here. Bank details for making a donation can be found on the registration form. If you cannot participate at the Dinner, a donation to the Charity Service in lieu would be most appropriate.

The dinner will be preceded by our Annual General Meeting where the Committee for the next two years will be elected (please see the notice below).  Members who have not paid their membership fee (3,000 HUF) for this year are requested to pay this at the same time (this brings the total price up to 8,000 HUF) – students and guests don't need to pay a membership fee. All participants are allowed one guest each and registration is on a first-come-first-served basis (although we expect to be able to accommodate everyone), and is required by 12 noon on Thursday, 24th March, payment also has to be received by that time. As noted, when purchasing tickets, we encourage donations towards supporting the Charity Service of the Order of Malta, Berehovo (Beregszász, Ukraine). About the Annual general meeting

As the Cambridge–Oxford Alumni Club of Hungary (Cambridge–Oxford Magyar Alumni Klub Egyesület) is now registered with the Hungarian Courts as an association (egyesület), an Annual General Meeting must be held each year, where, amongst other things, the new committee is elected and the financial accounts are approved.

The Agenda is as follows:

1. Opening and electing the officers of the AGM (the Speaker, the Secretary etc.)

2. Voting on the Agenda 3. Discussing and Voting on the Annual Report of the Committee and the proposed Budget
