The Oxford and Cambridge Club of Geneva and Isobel Shaw invite alumni and their guests to join her on a moonlight walk in the snow, followed by dinner at La Grange de la Dole, in Les Dappes.

Please meet Isobel at 18h30 at La Givrine on the left of the road, about 300 meters past La Givrine railway station (if coming from St Cergue). Do not park in the big new car park which is on your right going towards Les Rousses. Isobel will be waiting for you at the big sign “Refuge de la Trelasse”. You can park diagonally along the left side of the road.

The maximum length of the walk will be 50 minutes each way - about 2.5 km each way. You can expect to be back at the cars around 23h00.

If it is stormy or raining, we will carpool to a point nearer the restaurant. 

If you would like to join us for the dinner but not do the walk, you can drive to the restaurant and meet us there.

Please bring: a flashlight, suitable boots with good gripping soles for walking on packed snow, warm clothing, hat and gloves and walking sticks/ski poles.

• 3. Risotto de truite au Comté avec salade. - Euro 27

Dessert is also included - choice of either vacherin glace or Tarte aux myrtillesTea or coffee is also included. The Restaurant suggests the following wine, Arbois rouge - 15€ a bottle or Arbois blanc at 17€ There is a good choice of wines, mostly costing about 15€.

We will each pay for our own meal and wine individually.
