Alumni and guests are invited to join the Cambridge Society of Dorset for a visit to Houghton Lodge.

This was built in the Cottage Ornée style for the Pitt-Rivers family and is set in a beautiful location by the River Test near Stockbridge.  A talk and guided tour of the house by Sophie Busk, the present owner, fits in with lunch and time to explore the garden and grounds, which were the location for scenes from the television production of David Copperfield with Maggie Smith.

There is a limit of 50 visitors for this event.
