2018 is the 10th anniversary of the Lucy Cavendish Singers, to mark this anniversary they have commissioned a special arrangement for upper voices of Alexander Campkin's stunningly dramatic Unleash the beauty .

The concert will be a delicious blend of classical and traditional music, spiced with a selection of light opera and contemporary pieces.

The concert features solos and small ensembles as well as full choir numbers.

In addition to Campkin's Unleash the Beauty, the programme will feature the much-loved Easter Hymn from Mascagni's opera, Cavalleria Rusticana, as well as works by Bingen, Rachmaninoff, Orff, Piaf, Leclerc and more.

On the night we are also delighted to have Karen Davies as our guest soprano.

There will also be the opportunity to meet the choir at a post-concert reception and enjoy an exhibition of watercolour paintings by our resident artist Lesley Fotherby.
