The Oxford and Cambridge Society of Cape Town promotes interest in and support for both Oxford and Cambridge Universities among alumni and friends in South Africa and welcomes members from across Africa. We not only aim to have a social space for alumni, but also aim to have a continuing dialogue between the region and outreach efforts of the universities to the region. As such the activities of the club includes both events and communication. On the event side these can be simple scoail gatherings, or inviting interesting speakers to come join for an evening. On the communications side, we aim to ensure that the activities of the Universities related to the continent are disseeminated to out members, and that alumni can be informed of the activities of the Universities.

The present committee is actively encouraging the involvement of more recent graduates, while offering a range of activities to accommodate most interests. We also welcome contact with other alumni societies and encourage visiting alumni to make contact and join in our events.
