Oxford and Cambridge Society of Cape Town

The Oxford and Cambridge Society of Cape Town has been in existence for many decades. Like most voluntary societies, it has seen various incarnations and foci over the years, reflecting changing committees and active members. It has been through academic, business, social and sporting phases. The present committee is actively encouraging the involvement of more recent graduates, while offering a range of activities to accommodate most interests. These currently include regular informal lunch meetings at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and dinners with a range of speakers. We are planning to introduce mountain walks/hikes and sporting events in this year's calendar. We also welcome contact with other alumni societies and encourage visiting alumni to make contact and join in our events.
