The Cambridge Society of London is the official regional society for Cambridge alumni who live, work or socialise in London. As such, membership is not restricted by age, occupation, profession or interest. All Cambridge alumni are welcome to join.

Formed over 40 years ago and having travelled through a number of transitions, it has over the last decade focused on running special events in the areas of culture, history, world affairs, sport, targeted networking and freshers' parties.

For announcements, up-to-date details of future events and joining details please see the Cambridge Society of London website.

Joining Instructions

Thank you for your interest in joining the Cambridge Society of London. We hope to welcome you to membership very shortly.  With numbers rising to some 40,000 Cambridge graduates within Greater London our small committee of volunteers faced a daunting task, so some years ago we instituted a formal membership subscription system – the princely sum of £12 p.a. – which has made the numbers more manageable.

Each event is then charged to our members at a level to cover its costs, and we aim for a small surplus which goes into our reserves for a rainy day, for our admin, internet and booking services, and for the occasional loss.  Our Cambridge committee members are unremunerated – we do it for fun (though sometimes it does get a bit frantic!).

Please visit https://camsoclon.org/join/ to enrol.
