The Friends of Cambridge Univeristy Library invite you for a talk and some festive drinks at the University Library on Thursday 7 December.

Dr Sarah Pyke, Munby Fellow in Bibliography 2023-24, will be giving a short talk on her current research, which examines illustrated dust jackets and covers of twentieth century children’s books, and their place in our histories of reading. There’ll be a display of material from the Tower Collections, and the talk will be followed by wine and mince pies.

Open to all – tickets required. This event is hosted by the Friends of Cambridge University Library. You can find more information about becoming a Friend here: www.lib.cam.ac.uk/friends.
