Join us at The Wild Geese, in the heart of the European Quarter, blessed with excellent transport links and mercifully easy parking. Funny hats, flags, and face paint are not merely permitted but encouraged.

For those fortunate enough to have attended Cambridge (and thus avoided a life wrapped in Oxonian gloom), the Boat Race offers a rare chance to suspend CamSoc’s usual cordiality with the Other Place and enjoy some healthy institutional rivalry.

The Women’s Race starts at 3:21 and the Men’s at 4:21 (Brussels time). Come wave the flag, enjoy the spectacle, and watch Cambridge surge gloriously down the Thames.

Robert Stanbury adds extra incentive with his traditional challenge: a bottle of Champagne for whoever predicts the winning time most accurately—for both races. Expect hints, guile, and spirited competition. Algorithms and old‑school intuition equally welcome.

So come along to cheer on our Cantab girls and lads, while our Oxonian friends bravely try not to sniffle. We look forward to seeing a fine showing of Cambridge blue.
