Suffolk - Visit to West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village and Country Park
Alumni and guests are invited to join the Suffolk Cambridge Society for their second visit to West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village and Country Park.
West Stow is the site of an early Anglo-Saxon village, occupied from AD 420-650 and is one of the country’s great archaeological sites. It has extensive indoor archaeological galleries and a stunning recreation of an Anglo-Saxon village surrounded by 125 acres of unspoilt countryside.
The programme for the day is;
10.30am: Meet in the West Stow café for tea/coffee.
11.00am: Guided tour of the reconstructed Anglo-Saxon village.
12.15pm: Buffet lunch in a private room in the Education Centre (menu can be found in the booking form)

Location
Entry to the Anglo-Saxon Village and Country Park is on Icklingham Road, West Stow, IP28 6HG. It is about 8 miles north of Bury St Edmunds. There is a car parking charge of £2 for the day.
