Join Lord Simon Woolley, Principal of Homerton College and Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge, in conversation with Lynn Fritz, former CEO of the Fritz Companies, owner of the Lynmar Estate Winery and co-founder of the Fritz Institute.  Lord Simon and Mr. Fritz will cover a broad range of topics from education to politics and policy to entrepreneurship and humanitarianism.

Lord Simon Woolley

Lord Simon Woolley is the founder and director of Operation Black Vote (OBV) and Trustee of the charity Police Now, Principal of Homerton College and Deputy Vice Chancellor of Cambridge University. Repeatedly recognized in the Black Powerlist, Lord Woolley is dedicated to promoting opportunity for underrepresented communities and individuals, and to building consensus across political and community lines. Lynn Fritz

Lynn C. Fritz is a pioneering entrepreneur whose work spans global logistics, sustainable viticulture, and civic leadership.

As Chairman and CEO of Fritz Companies Inc., he built a global logistics firm operating in 120 countries, later acquired by UPS in 2001. That same year, he founded the Fritz Institute, applying commercial logistics to humanitarian aid. Its tools and training programs are now used by organizations like the Red Cross and World Vision. He was inducted into the Logistics Hall of Fame in 2021.

Fritz owns Lynmar Estate, a boutique winery in Sonoma County known for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The estate practices regenerative agriculture, uses solar power, and supports local biodiversity—reflecting his commitment to excellence and environmental stewardship.

A Georgetown and Lincoln Law graduate, Fritz has served on boards including Georgetown University, UC Davis, and the Exploratorium. He’s received honorary doctorates and awards for public service and global citizenship. Read full bio.
