The event will be in real life, subject to COVID restrictions and common sense.

NHS or EU Covid Vaccination confirmations are mandatory and must be shown on the door.*

Since its launch CAMentrepreneurs has held 38 events in Cambridge, Dubai, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Helsinki, Houston, London, New York, Sydney and Warsaw.

CAMentrepreneurs operates on a TED -> TEDx model, in that we only launch a group when there are people in the city concerned who want to take the lead in getting a group off the ground (and there is sufficient interest).

If you are interested in helping making an Oxford group thrive, please fill in this form, so we can contact you before the launch. Tickets will be available from the end of August. If you are very keen to come, please use the "get involved" form, or make contact with Richard Lucas directly. We will give priority to those who want to help run CAMentrepreneurs in Oxford.

Expand your network in Oxford by meeting Cambridge alumni, students and others interested in entrepreneurship. There are more than 1,619 Cambridge Alumni in Oxford so there is every reason to think that we could have a thriving group if 2% or more are into entrepreneurship. Our inclusive network offers local connections and global reach for entrepreneurs as well as the opportunity to re-connect with the Cambridge eco-system

This first event will enable prospective members to discuss the kinds of events they would enjoy attending or organising in Oxford.

A special guest speaker will share their experience of their entrepreneurial journey. Details to follow.

Richard Lucas, founder of CAMentrepreneurs, will share his insights on the potential of the network to create value not just in Oxford but also around the world. The majority of CAMentrepreneurs never attended an Alumni event until they came to one of ours.

Our events have a strong focus on participant engagement - be prepared to meet new people and make new connections.

If you want to make a short community announcement or pitch a business idea please let us know.

We are targeted at:

Alumni of the University and Business School who are in business, want to invest in/start companies, make new connections, find clients, co-founders, team members.

Students who are interested in entrepreneurship, finding investors, co-founders, jobs, internships, freelancing opportunities. If you are an Oxford student with a business idea or strongly supportive of entrepreneurship we encourage you to apply to attend.

While CAMentrepreneurs is centred on Cambridge University connected people, we are open to co-operation with other people and organisations that are interested in supporting entrepreneurship.
