Alumni and guests are invited to join the Cambridge Society of Dorset for a talk by Simon Lole.

Simon Lole was educated at King's College London (BMus, 1978) and the Guildhall School of Music, and has been a professional church musician for over 30 years, being honoured with a fellowship of the Guild of Church Musicians in 2005, and an ARSCM for services to church music in 2020.

Following directorships of music at Sheffield and Salisbury cathedrals, and chapel music at Jesus College Cambridge, he now leads a varied freelance career as a composer, and choral and orchestral arranger. He is in great demand as a choral director particularly for the BBC and recently was Music Producer for BBC2’s “Carols from Kings’- a must watch programme which is still available on iPlayer if you did not see it on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
