The Cambridge Society of London is pleased to invite you and your guests to join them in cheering on this year's Oxford and Cambridge Boat Races.

After one lost year and one year ‘on tour’, the Boat Races are back! Resuming our tradition since 2012, we will enjoy the afternoon from the first floor of an elegant grade II-listed pub in Putney. With our private room (“the Wolsey Room”) at the Duke’s Head, exceptional company and delightful catering, all the elements are in place for another great Society Boat Race party! The event opens at 12 noon. There will be the opportunity to enjoy some apéritifs before we sit down for our three-course lunch at 1:20pm. Shortly before the women’s race commences at a very precise 2:23pm, we will throw open our windows to soak in the atmosphere and gain our vantage points. As the women power off beyond the first stretch, we will turn to our large television screen to watch the whole race unfold. Following this we will feast on our dessert to ensure sufficient energy to withstand another bout of excitement as the men set off at 3:23pm.

After the races the room will remain ours, so “ongoing festivities” are guaranteed. As always, our Cambridge members and their friends will provide the most stimulating company.
