The Gloucestershire Cambridge Society is pleased to invite you and your guests to join them in cheering on this year's Oxford and Cambridge boat race.

We are delighted that the University Boat Race will return to its traditional Championship Course on the Tideway on Sunday 3 April 2022 following its return from the course at Ely last year. We will also be reinstating our convivial boat race party to enjoy light refreshments and watch the races with our Oxford Society of Gloucestershire friends and rivals. The 4.25 mile course is raced from Putney to Mortlake. The current tally stands at 84 wins for Cambridge against 80 for Oxford in the Men's races and 44 wins for Cambridge against 30 for Oxford in the Women's. Last year Cambridge took a clean sweep of all four races (Blue boats and their reserves in the Men's and Women's races).

In 2022 the 76th Women's race will start at 14:23 GMT and will be followed at 15:23 GMT by the 167th Men's race. We will gather from 2:00pm. Light celebratory refreshments will be provided throughout.
