About the author:

Born and raised in Vienna, Austria, I moved to the UK for undergrad in 1994 and graduated from Robinson College in 1997 with a degree in Management Studies, having first read two years of Land Economy. Since then, I've lived in Paris, Boston and London. I also have an MBA from Harvard Business School and spent 6 years in strategy consulting before moving into senior commercial roles. Highlights include starting the new London-Amsterdam service for Eurostar and more recently building Trainline’s non-UK business by shuttling between Paris, Milan and Barcelona. Now based in South-West London, I’m head chef for my wife Abi and my kids Claudia (17) and Tobi (14) while also trying to stay fit through orienteering, running and football refereeing – unless of course I’m off on yet another trip to somewhere new.

I truly hope that my book will help accelerate your career, or at least leave you with some thought-provoking ideas. Oh, and that you have a bit of fun along the way. Otherwise, what’s the point?
