Cambridge has also been ranked fifth globally in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2027, following a joint third-place position in 2026. 

In the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2027, Cambridge placed fourth overall and had 16 subjects ranked the best in the UK, more than any other UK University.

Cambridge also performed strongly in the Guardian University Guide 2027, rising to second place overall. The Guide ranked 10 Cambridge subjects first in the UK, with a further nine in second place and three in third.
