Members of the Oxford and Cambridge Society of Estonia are invited to the following Lennart Meri Conference pre-event at EBS, which is organized by the Estonian Council on Foreign Relations:

On May 13 at 5pm, British MP Tom Tugendhat will deliver a talk titled “Defending Britain, Defending Allies” at the Estonian Business School auditorium (Room 413, Lauteri 3, Tallinn).

Tom Tugendhat is a Member of the British Parliament and served as the Minister of State (Security Minister) from 2022 to 2024. Before being elected as an MP, Tom served on operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. He also worked for the Foreign Office, helping to set up the National Security Council of Afghanistan and the government in Helmand Province.

The discussion will be moderated by Marko Mihkelson, Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee at the Estonian Parliament.

This event is organized by the Estonian Council on Foreign Relations together with the International Centre for Defence and Security.

The discussion will not be streamed or recorded, and attendees are invited to participate in person. The event will be held in English.
