This year it is the Cambridge Society’s turn to organise the Tripartite Dinner for the members of our three alumni societies. We are finalising arrangements with the venue with a view to sending out full details very shortly so that you can book your places. This advance notice gives you the broad outlines of what we are planning, to whet your appetite and make sure that you have blocked the date in the diary! 

Many of you will know the venue, it is beautiful especially in early June. A marvellous location for this major event in our calendar, and we are looking forward to seeing many of you at the Dinner with our friends from the other societies.

MENU: Aperatifs and amuse-bouches on the terrace, followed by a high-quality barbecue with something for everyone, salad buffet, dessert buffet, fine wines, draught and non-alcoholic beer, soft drinks, water, coffee/tea.

THEME: The overall theme for the evening will be The Great Gatsby!  There is no requirement for the ladies to wear 1920’s flapper dresses with long strings of pearls and ostrich boas, nor do the men have to look for white tuxedos, but you are welcome to use your imagination! We are just keeping our normal dress code of evening wear for the ladies, black tie or smart business suit for the men.

We are planning for some suitable 1920s music, and appropriate decorations.
