Edward studied Agricultural and Forest Sciences at Oxford, followed by a decade running large farms in South America, and land conservation has always been a keen interest. On his return to England he set up Latin America specialist tour operator Last Frontiers, which has been sending travellers to the continent for over 30 years. Ed was chairman of the Latin American Travel Association for ten years and was a founder trustee of the LATA Foundation. He has visited nearly every country in Central and South America, and accompanied alumni groups to Argentina, Chile and Mexico.
